A Dressing Room

When I was a young girl I loved to see all of my mother's dresses and shoes in her closet. The fabrics called to me--shiny, smooth, soft, lacy, embroidered--in colors that both delighted and soothed.  Through the years I have put together my own wardrobe (I'll do a post on that another day) full of feminine frocks, adorable shoes, and classic handbags.  With our plan to build our house soon, I have been searching my Houzz and Pinterest accounts and gathering my "dressing room" ideas into one place. It is so much fun to gaze at all the loveliness! Budget concerns must be acknowledged, though, so I have been weeding through the possibilities and trying to find a way to get the essence of these ideas without all the expense. I do recognize that I am blessed and fortunate to be in the position to even have a dressing room, and I am very thankful. Here are a few of my most favorite dressing room inspirational pictures...

Truly breathtaking!  I absolutely love chandeliers.  They bring elegance to whatever space they occupy. It will be so nice to have a beautiful dressing room to showcase, organize, and help my wardrobe items stay clean and ready to be worn.
